I liked the character of BP, but the BP movie was very poorly done.

Right. He was great in Civil War and you understood his motivation and his arc may have been the best of the movie. I was excited for his solo flick.

But the solo movie was just kind of blah. I liked him again, but kind of disliked Wakandan society and their motivations and as much as I like Michael B. Jordan as an acotr I disliked his villain.

And then there was the terrible FX...

You pile all that up and then juxtapose it next to the praise it got, and it made many people who are fans of these movies sit back and wonder what was going on. I certainly didn't hate it at all...I enjoyed it like I enjoy all of the MCU. but I'd have called it the 3rd best MCU movie last year, with Ant Man and Wasp coming in 4th by a bit. Infinity War ought to have been the movie to have gotten the nod, if for nothing else being the culmination of this 10 year run by Marvel. It was a far superior movie in every way.

While MOST of the m/tv board praises Usual Suspects as being incredibly awesome with a wonderful twist,

SPOILERS BELOW.........

there's a small contingent that hate it and claim that because verbal was essentially making the story up along the way, none of it really happened thereby invalidating the entire movie. I personally don't feel that way but there are some out there.

This definitely isn't the most controversial but it was the first thing that popped into my head.
