I’m going to preface this with sorry about your losses, but now to get into the gravy:

quote:

1)Do you really think that vaccinations can entirely protect your child? Have you held your only child, a 5 year old daughter who had never been sick a day, while she died, 24 hours after returning from Disney World after contracting a virus that not even CDC could identify? I HAVE! And she was vaccinated.

No, I don’t know if I’m driving one day and a drunk driver doesn’t plow into the side of my car killing my kid. It’s not a guarantee, but you might as well be saying I shouldn’t invest in insurance. Vaccinations help to make sure they don’t die from illness. The reason they didn’t have a vaccination for your kid is because they didn’t know what it was. Sorry, but it’s just the truth.

quote:

2)Have you held your infant son while he experienced grand mal seizures on one side of his body for 24 hours beginning 45 minutes after receiving a combo vaccination? I HAVE! He is now age 22 and is profoundly autistic. While I will not state that the vaccination "caused" his autism, I will emphatically state that the vaccination caused a severe traumatic neurological event to one side of my infant son's brain.

I’d rather them be autistic than to die from polio or smallpox.

quote:

3)Have you any knowledge of the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Fund, a 1996 Federal mandate which required that a portion of the fee for all vaccinations be held by the Federal government for the payment of vaccine related injuries? Do you think that the Federal government knew a problem existed? The fund was so overwhelmed it became insolvent quickly and limited claim payments to only those who could clearly prove, via documented evidence, that the vaccination had effectively made the child into a "vegetable".

I’m not familiar with it and you haven’t given me enough information whatsoever to work with. Like I don’t know which companies were complicit in this, what kind of vaccinations you’re talking about, or what they did to the vaccinated. You’re going to have to give me a lot more than the government being sued and paying off people.

quote:

4)Do you think that the vaccination schedule/protocol has always been the same as currently? Go research it. You will find that several changes were made at a single time. Do you think the government knew a problem existed?

No, because science is advancing and they’re constantly discovering new things. I’d be concerned if my kid’s vaccination schedule was the same as my father’s back in the 50s. This is simply conspiracy theory territory.

quote:

5)Conspiracy? Let's just say that, at least for a period of time, a convenient circular protection existed covering government, pharma, and the physicians where none faced any culpability.

Yeah, they’re called attorneys because people sue doctors all the time if they didn’t come out perfectly.

quote:

I do take great offense at the vitriolic labeling by persons who have extremely limited to nonexistent knowledge of the subject matter. I am a widower and single parent, and truly pray that none of you experience any of the things which I have.

You are an expert in pain and suffering. You are not an expert when it comes to healthcare. Your horrific experiences do not mean you know more than a licensed physician.

quote:

Our other children were educated on the potential risks and benefits and allowed to make an informed decision at an age appropriate level.

Age appropriate my arse. You tend to have built up several immunities naturally by the time you reach 20. Age appropriate response is to get your kids vaccinated before they can spread measles to other kids. Sorry about your kids, but I find it to be completely assholish behavior to put other kids at risk for far more horrific diseases than autism. I’d never allow my kids to hang out with yours. This should be an additional consideration for parents not vaccinating their kids since you will socially ostracize them due to parents not wanting them within a thousand yards of your kids. They certainly won’t be invited to a sleepover, that’s for damn sure. I’m not having a Polio Party at my house.
