No - there is no 'religion' involved in a belief in a Creator (aka God) - "religion' only has a meaning within the construct of some organized set of rituals and tenets.
There was a long period of time where even the dumbest person in America fully understood that concept - you have to be seriously mal-educated and blissfully ignorant - and morally corrupt - to make acknowledgment of a Creator granting rights into a 'religion.'

I understand this, but didn't want to get into a long drawn out religious discussion, so I simply wrote what I wrote.
