CP3 doesn't get booed. maybe a little, but most fans still have a special place in their heart for him even if they hate his flopping ways.

No one would have a problem had this been done in the offseason. The only reason it was done when it was, which was unprecedented, is b/c he and his agent were trying to force AD to the Lakers b/c they know the Lakers can't get him in the offseason. frick AD for that.
He does this in the offseason, especially after this shitty season, we all understand. We don't have to like it, but everyone can respect it.
He doesn't deserve respect for what he just did, and that's a shame b/c i don't think he thought this through and intended it this way. He's just a naive idiot.
