No I never said that I only said that the assumption that the Celtics will be offering Tatum is foolish bcuz it’s contingent on kyrie staying and ainge being ignorant and careless to what AD said. So then that leaves pels accepting less than what they thought they would get from Boston or going back to the table and accepting less than what lakers originally offered which like I said is factual being that they traded away Zubac today who was in the last offer

Quick question, do you think the Lakers record, and thus their draft pick, will be higher or lower in the draft now that AD wasn't traded to LA today?

To be completely honest with I actually thought that last offer to the pels was too much and would leave them with nothing besides him and bron so I would say best case about the same if they made that deal. Consider this tho they were 4th-5th in the west before bron went out. So if that trade goes through I think it’s best case the same

Well good thing is you got to keep all the assets you thought were too much and test the theory.
I suspect you're wrong and objectively the Pels are far better positioned to wait than accept a bunch of scrub players, one that doesn't want to be here, and no one wants, and a bunch of mid to late first rounders. Then to let teams like Boston jump into the fray, The Clippers see what they can come up with, and see where NY's pick lands and let the toxicity Magic and Lebron just spread trying to sell off all of his teammates add to a sense of desperation.

No you can’t and most posters on here have pelicans glasses on so of course they think I’m stupid and dumb and all of the other insulting words y’all can come up with rather than talk substance and realistic possibilities. I’m actually a true basketball fan then comes my team that I root for.

Literally the only people I have come across that think the Pelicans screwed up today are Laker homers that can't seem to explain why a group of players that on their own were straight trash for multiple seasons as a unit but suddenly were somehow a lost prize the Pels missed out on? That simultaneously want to tell everyone the Pels screwed up but are really mad they didn't get a deal done today.
Keep in mind Magic tried to bring in other teams to get the Pels some assets they might covet more, like Lonzo for an additional first, and literally no one wanted any part of it.
Perhaps, just maybe, these players are not the assets the Laker homers and their most rose tinted media thinks they are?

Again the problem with that is us you can see what the clippers can come up with but we both know they don’t have anything being that they just traded away their best player so who’s left to trade besides picks SGA and who else? The knicks offer is predicated on them getting the #1 pick and not wanting Zion who would bring a new excitement to Madison square along with the possibility of getting KD and kyrie and also being able to sign AD in free agency the following year if he’s traded to Boston and doesn’t stay. And while you say the lakers players didn’t wanna come only 1 person actually said that’s and that’s lavar about lonzo who’s in his 2nd year so he really doesn’t have any say so regarding that.

Again full disclosure I’m a pacers fan not a lakers fan but anyway how do you say the lakers players were trash for multiple seasons when this is actually the 2nd season for 3 of the 4 key young players that were offered

We have a difference of opinion on that but I can see where you’re coming from on it tho. And lonzo could be moved but he’s the only 1 that it’s reported didn’t wanna come the others didn’t say and I’m sure would’ve minded a fresh start without the pressure of playing on a lebron lead team
