As a graduate of Ohio University I am sorry to see Coach Burrow retire, but glad he can attend all of Joe's games next year.

He wants to watch his son play this year because he knows it’s going to be a special year. Doesn’t want to miss a minute of it

LSU should hire him as an analyst.

Next defensive analyst!

Why? We need inroads to the high school network of those Midwestern big ugglies- both sides of the ball

Me too. And, from what I've heard, LSU was a family decision.

Definitely should hire him as a defensive analyst

I want 500 analysts. Build a goddamn army.

right on.

question to the thread in general:

I know there is now a rule against hiring someone associated with a recruit now (and I don't know the specifics). Is there a rule, or does that one apply, to hiring someone associated with a non-recruit (i.e. already on the team)?

nevermind the big guys, I want an inside track on the QBs.
Imagine a solid, Etling-caliber guy at worst on our teams in the past. Some years he'd be a safe backup, others he'd be a starter- and those teams won 9-10 games with far worse.

Don't blame him. Picture yourself in his shoes? You would do the same thing!
