My last semester of college back in 2013 I had a course with Thomas Dean in the Department of Natual Resources. His class was ridiculous because it revolved around using laptops using this program where you used bubble charts to complete assignments and even tests. Students probably all have laptops now but I never did throughout college. I told him I didn’t have one and he offered using one of his while in class but I said frick that and I just never went to class.

I would coordinate with classmates I was in a group with and work on assignments from my home desktop. Well this prick hated me for not attending class and called me out a couple times in emails.

Last assignment of the year comes and I submit online with 30 min to spare from the due date. Only issue is the program isn’t using central standard time and it shows that I submitted my assignment late. He gives me a 0 and it lowers my grade to a D and I needed a C because it was a major course. Yeah yeah I should’ve done better but it was my last semester and I didn’t give a frick about doing my best at this time as I just wanted to graduate.

Well one of my classmates has the same issue and goes to him and he says yeah there’s a time issue on there and he fixes his grade on the assignment. I go to him and he tells me there’s no issue with the programs time stamp and that perhaps if I went to class all semester my grade wouldn’t be so low.

I ended up having to get with the department registrar to submit a substitute course for that one so I could graduate. I wanted to stomp a mud hole in that fricking guy. frick him. Pretentious a-hole.

I was coaching in college so I had to take whatever early classes I could on my degree audit. So... History of Eastern Religions it was. I have no idea what the professors name was, but the guy had just gotten over a stroke. He sat in a chair with a Bob Barker microphone, and in a monotone voice talked about the differences between Hinduism, Buddhism, and Taoism. We learned his tests came basically from the reading, but he took attendance so we just brought our books and read as he gave his lectures. He was a such a nice guy, but those lectures were brutal.
