Cajuns, polynesians have a lot in common???

Besides Cajuns having catastrophe syndrome which they didn't in the past, yes they are a lot alike. Family, food, tradition, life.

Polynesians are happy, optimistic, hard working, ancestry loving bunch of people who thrive on their culture and food.

Yep, yep, nope, yep, yep.

I lived in the south pacific for a few years, and there are no cultures there that would be considered hard working by western standards. The opposite, actually. But when it comes to sports, they are hyper-competitive and it translates well on the gridiron. They were starting a professional football league among some of the islands when I was there. I got to scrimmage the Fijian national team in a game of tackle football. Good times.
