Hello Fellow Travelers,

I'm heading down to Cozumel next week on a solo trip. I've read through some of the Cozumel threads and decided not to go the AI route, so I'm looking for good restaurants for dinner and bars for cocktails after. Planning on hiring a driver to tour all the cool bars on the East side and stop at a few beaches to snorkel. Other than that I'm wide open for suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Not a very big bar scene on the island especially at night when there aren’t ships in port. The Money Bar is a cool place to spend the day with cheap food and beer and pretty good snorkeling.

Casa Denis is my favorite restaurant. It is downtown about a half block past the square on south side.

Not a big bar scene. I usually just have cocktails after diving at whatever hotel beach bar I'm at.

Our favorite restaurants are El Moro and Wet Wendy’s. WW is a bar restaurant combo. Try the cucumber jalapeño margarita. WW is about 1/2 block north of the 7-11on the square.
El Moro is back in town but worth the trip. Not open Thursday
Casa Denis just off the SE corner of the square is also good. If you ask for a large margarita it’s served in a BIG goblet Casa Denis is cash only

On the east side Coconuts is a must stop. Ask to see the picture albums.
Check out Aldora Divers website for helpful information on restaurants even if you aren’t diving

I prefer mezcalitos on the east side. Same type photo album there. LOL. Free tequila shots everytime a lady looses her top.

La perlita, try the lionfish. El Pica for tacos, La Mission, and El Moro. Coconuts on the east side. I 2nd Aldora as a dive op, but they are numerous other 1st class ops on the island.

El Moro out of town neighborhood but don’t confuse with Los Moro in downtown plus as was offered Casa Dennis. Used to have good luck at La Choza too.
