quote:You can't actually be this stupid/ignorant...can you?
How many times do any of you recall cops shot during the 1990s or even the early 2000s?
Now, this doesn't directly answer the question "how many police were shot in any given year", but it should give you some directional indication.
Seriously, how disconnected from reality do you have to be to believe that there were a lot less shootings of police in the 90s and/or early 2000s? And when you finally realize how stupid your question and following assertions are, will it cause you even ONE MOMENT of reconsideration of your ignorant stupidity?

You are such a dildo, big scrub. You always have been. It was a stream of consciousness comment about these stories being in the media. You and your graph can suck it, you keyboard badass. Cops are targeted far more. Far more in 2019 than 1974. Tell me and find me the stories of the Dallas/Baton Rouge/Houston/Denver scenarios of the past 2 years. No way I believe your fake graph news.

Police officer deaths and police officer shootings are not the same statistics by a long shot.
Most departments didn’t start using ballistic vests until well into the 1990’s and some still don’t.
Also, there have been vast improvements in EMS care and ER gun shot trauma treatment over the past two decades.
