Tough perspective to ponder, but certainly not without its merits, I suppose.
To borrow from the late Denny Green..."The NFL is who we thought they were...and, we let them get away with it."
Rams defender is Rollo Tomasi...he got away with it.
Increasingly, on a grand scale, we live in a world with zero accountability. The NFL and Refs likely think..."Why should we fess up to anything? No one else does...and people are rarely held accountable."
I root for the Saints, but I am not a die-hard...as I have gotten older, I just care less and less. And this has me pissed off...so, I really feel for the team and the devoted fans who support them with their hearts and souls.

it is worse in the NFL. the NFl is the judge, jury, and executioner! it is a sham. a monopoly. an oligarchy.
the OP basically described going through a painful divorce or losing a family member and finding out there is no santa or easter bunny all at the same time. it is a tough pill to swallow. i won't blame a single person who walks away after this. You will never trust what you see again in this league and most of us will have PTSD from the shite we have witnessed the last 10 years and this year takes the cake. your brain when it gets tired of being hurt or burned will shut things out and stop caring.
