Having worked as a records clerk at one point that dealt with translated immunization certificates from a host of places, those kids still have to have the appropriate shots to attend school in the US unless they claim religious or medical exemption (and in some states, they don’t even do exemptions anymore). Even with a translated certificate, those students typically either had expired shots or didn’t have the ones appropriate for attendance in US schools so they were getting those in order to attend.

I had more problems with parents who had a WebMD degree in vaccinations that allegedly caused autism and getting them compliant than anyone FWIW.
