That was not the perfect play.


If the Saints ran on 3-straight plays you force the rams to use both timeouts & worst case scenario you kick a 25-ya field goal & give the Rams the ball with roughly 1:05 left on the clock, down by 3 with no timeouts.

Instead you throw the ball twice (1st & 3rd down) both of which are incomplete, including the missed penalty call, this stopping the clock & giving the Rams the ball with 1:45 left & a timeout instead of 1:05 & no timeouts.

Our defense played great, much better than the offense. I would have rather relied on them at that point then have Drew Brees try to force the ball in the endzone
