That’s a straw man. In fact, if anything, taking down statues is evidence that we’re currently correcting the “fake” history that’s been propagated for years (that Columbus was some sort of good guy who found America

He was absolutely a hero you ignorant frick. Just because a man who lived 550 years ago doesn't fit into your current world view doesn't change history and the fact that hes been revered by nearly 100% of Europeans and European settlers for the entire period
