Or the two other clear PI's the Rams committed that ended drives and the 2 helmet to helmets they got away with. We can play this game all day.

Goff's facemask wasn't "grasped" so by rule it is not a penalty.

Would have been inadvertent per former rules and the league has made a conscious effort to not call them since removing the 5yd inadvertent and only having the 15yd variety enforceable. There were enough "close calls" in this game to reshape that final sequence depending on who you wanted to win. It's a six point game at minimum if they call the PI on the prior Saints possession when Ginn was held during his cut and again when the ball was in the air. The Rams don't make it into the red zone if they call holding on #79 on the third down conversion to Cooks. I'm sure any Saints fan though will give you that inadvertent face mask for that PI/Personal Foul that the entire sports world is talking about. I'll take the Saints at the five down four with under 2:00 to play all day as will most if not all Saints fans. Trying to equate any of the other missed calls to that one is being contrarian for contrarians sake.
