I'm not sure why so many in this thread are having trouble understanding the OP. Yes, everyone is aware that Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Jeep, Fiat, etc., make a lot of different vehicles and is a successful company.
He is talking about Chrysler only and its lack of success, similar to Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Mercury, etc. These brands were not successful, despite the overall success of the parent company.
So,the question remains: Is Chrysler (as a brand) about to die?

Answer is yes. It’s been no secret that FCA is still figuring out what to do with Chrysler and Dodge. Both are at risk of going the way of Pontiac/Saturn/Oldsmobile.
