People like to shite on Mississippi but it does have redeeming qualities. Great culture for the arts (poetry, art, literature, ballet, the blues, etc.). Great food. Great hospitality. If you have a decent job that makes decent money, you can live like a king.

People get hung up on the overall numbers and don’t take into account that you can still have a great quality of life in those states.
Louisiana may have a higher percentage of dumb, poor, and fat people but none of that affects my day to day life.
