Anyone know what Kantor allegedly did in Turkey or if he'll be deported to face charges?

Turkey believes he is a spy for another nation and he has been openly critical of President Erdogan. He says that he would be killed if he goes to that country and I believe him.

Erdogan is the de facto dictator of Turkey. Technically he’s prime minister, but since he’s come into power they’ve essentially done away with democracy and he’s running an authoritarian regime. Kanter has been openly critical of Erdogan and due to this he has been actively trying to silence him. He abducted and tortured Kanters dad a couple of years ago. I think he also tried to have kanter deported under Obama
