I counted that as a 3-1 Seppi win in my mental book, but the actual result is better for tennis.

Took my hypothetical profit and put it on the two underdog Spaniards. Not Rafa obviously.

Thanks Roberto.

Apparently I've been missing a tennis clinic on Laver.

That’s exactly why I like to see guys like him do well.

On the bright side... having zero crowd support for your entire career can make you mentally tougher than most guys.

I came here to post that what Rafa did to young Demon can only be described as a clinic. The first two sets weren't even competitive. The third set was mildly competitive. Rafa looked sharp.

i like the young Demon's moxie, but his lack of firepower puts a ceiling on his upside.

I’ll get to that tomorrow.

For now I have to focus on figuring out how bad Goffin will beat Medvedev.

Or you could just bet big on Goffin. He's the underdog, so sounds like you've got some big time money coming your way.

Congratulations n advance.

Medvedev / Goffin O39 is a better bet imo

I kind of favor Medvedev too but the value is certainly on Goffin

Hsieh is giving Osaka some trouble. Hsieh is that old guy at your tennis club who hits with no pace and lots of junk and it causes you fits.

Osaka is done. Hsieh is getting a lot of balls to fall in

I'm embarrassed to say I'm watching this, but at least I'm not alone

This shows the difference between Serena and these young big hitters.

Osaka tried a couple moonballs but didn't seem to realize Hsieh's backhand is better than her forehand.

And I think that ball was out when Osaka made it 4-3.

Hsieh's serve is embarrassing. But, she can slap that flat backhand up the line and catch you napping. Osaka is finally taking control.
