Which means he has far more to lose. His draft stock isn't getting higher if he comes back. At least Beckwith had the argument that he wanted to move into the 1st round.

All of this kind of hinges on the injury. Beck with had a pretty severe injury, and we honestly don’t know how much he “fell” due to that injury. It also happened late in the season. Would you say that injury + timing is about as worst case of a scenario as you could reasonably imagine?

I’m rambling, but I’m just not sure how much White will actually fall if he were to suffer an injury as severe as an ACL. It’s recovery time has been reduced to the point where he might not ever miss a snap in the NFL. I’m also not sure it will affect future contracts, as many people in the league earn top dollar for their positions that have had the injury in the past.
