You're not getting a Bazemore/Solo swap for 2nds this year. He still has a year left on his deal so Atlanta would just wait until next year if it can't get a 1st out of him.

If Payton is a good fit next to Jrue/Beal you can keep him with the MLE. But you're right, that's a top heavy roster and we've seen that most of Demps' time here. Unless you have Portland's injury luck it won't win enough to keep AD around.

I think I see where the Parsons move makes sense though (they still shouldn't get Frank and a 2nd as change back for the 1st though). You give up your 2019 pick in this deal but not a 2021 pick. That means your 2020 pick is in play next year. You could flip Parsons, who would be expiring, and that pick for depth. Maybe this summer make the trade and get back say Bazemore and Bembry for Parsons/1st.

So essentially you traded

Randle/Moore/Frank/2 1sts/2nd for

And like I said, I think Frank/2nd being in that deal is unjustified. Memphis already made the mistake of "separating" with Parsons, they have no leverage.

That team is thin up front unless you get a solid vet minimum FA, and you still don't have a legit starting caliber 6'8 3 and D wing, but you have quite a lot everywhere else.
