Actually, the announcers announced 3-4 times, including that one, how UCF was benefitting from the missed calls. I remember thinking that it was so bad that even they couldn't avoid commenting on it. Probably until ESPN execs called and told them to shut the %#$& up.
And as far as the refs, I think it is fair to say that they were bad enough to qualify to be SEC refs.

The announcers actually blamed Dillon for running a bad route.
