What a shocker. Amazingly convenient for the people who wish to draw misguided inferences.

I linked to the White House’s website. Not a news site. Literally didn’t spin anything. Direct quotes.

No, it was just as I said previously, and you’re, along with the fake news, misrepresenting his usual boisterous speech

What universe do you live in? He cited all the “low” numbers (which as discussed was higher than their actual raise) they could have received had he not fought for them, then said he fought for 10%, and then immediately congratulated them on their large raise. No transition or other language to make it seem that this is a continued fight or that their current 2.6% was just an appetizer for the real thing. The immediate congratulations more than heavily implies that he got them 10% (which he didn’t actually get them).

Also nice job ignoring the other lies he told

Best of all, the amount of the raise is determined by formula. In 2018, @real tried to give them less than the formula dictated but was overridden by Congress to the prescribed amount. The only difference this year is that @real didn’t try to shortchange them. Instead, he’s fricking over other federal workers, in multiple ways.
