Saw his entire high school career.

Was a starter his sophomore year playing both sides on offense and defense lines.

Coach Shows of WM personally singled him out his sophomore year before playing Ruston saying he was already, on film, one of the most athletic and dominant linemen he had seen in all his years of coaching. Said the NFL was on his future if he continued to progress. And, he did.

People know how strong he was and quick, but he was fast as grease lightning also. He use to run the 100 meters in junior high and high school and beat running backs soundly before he packed on all the extra muscle (while maintaiing his athleticism).
