For draft purposes the AAF assigned regions for the players. LSU falls into Memphis’ region that’s why they have so many tigers. It helps drive ratings and fan support.

Isn't Brad still the punter for the Giants?

Nah. Apparently he was released by the Giants in March of this year. That's news to me

They should film their “season” and run it continuous loop in the locker room, along with the salaries, travel arrangements, practice facilities, etc., after about mid season, for everyone thinking about leaving early

Almost none of our guys involved in this league left early, would be pretty shitty to insult them that way.

Not meant as an insult, meant as an inspiration. Going to “ the league “ for a cup of coffee and a few short term bucks isn’t as glamorous as it seems. Stay in school, get that degree, maybe improve the draft stock . Delay gratification, plan for the future?

I'm not trying to sound like a smart arse or a-hole but those teams are region aligned. You will only see the LSU player there. It's kind of strange but that is 100% a development league. There are deff more LSU players since the last time I looked at their roster. Should be fun to watch being it's basically decent College athletes that have and some time in Big League training

It’s a smart marketing strategy for a “minor league.” By making the teams talent bases regional, there will be football fans who recognize the players and may take more of an interest than they would with other such leagues. A few others have proposed this model, but the AAF is the first one to get off the ground, to my knowledge.

But besides Montgomery and Wing, the two with the best NFL careers, all our guys involved in this league did just that. Saying, you could end up like this if you leave early, when 80% of those guys didn't leave early is dumb.
