She had featured role on Laverne and Shirley - a big chested blonde gal named Rhonda who we may also remember from the Police Acadrmy movies. She actually sang the national anthem before the 1983
Super Bowl. Obviously times have changed

I’ve opened this thread twice and am struggling to connect the dots as to the significance of a bit actor who was on an old show in which the lead actress died and subsequently did a mediocre rendition of our national anthem in the 80’s at the super bowl.

Is it related to Fonzi surviving the water ski jump over the sharks....?

Basically the stuff outside of the actual Super Bowl game itself was not that big a deal 30+ years ago. You could find a B list actress to sing the national anthem. If you were seeking more “meaning” I apologize for not delivering. Join a men’s group or something

Sarcasm. Apologize. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and let’s hope for some exciting bowl games!,

Seeing all those patriotic baws on each sideline standing proudly and singing along to our beautiful anthem makes me pine for the good old days. A far cry from what we have today, sadly

It made me remember how goddang popular Laverne and Shirley was.

So much so that there was a Saturday Morning cartoon of ‘Laverne and Shirley join the army.’ Strangely enough their commander was a pig voiced by Ron (Arnold Horshack) Palllilo.

I’m not even sure who could come up with such a plot.
