re: With the new developments at CB where do we go from here

I've been concerned about our safety depth. At the time, it didn't seem like losing Sterns last year was going to be a big deal, but man, how would he and Delpit look back there next year?
I thought I had read Hampton projects more as a safety than a corner, so I was really hoping he'd make it to campus for this reason. I know he's listed on 247 as a CB, but is that really where he's likely to play?

247 has Hampton as the 9th best CB in the nation. I think he gets the look there first. now, he is listed as 6', 205 pounds, so how accurate that is and how much he grows by the Summer could alter the analysis a bit. Joseph been serviceable for a freshman corner and that may help him if he slides to FS.
Joseph may stay at CB because that's the best option, but of the 2, I think Hampton is a more natural corner than Joseph is and a more natural corner than he is a safety.
