My kid’s friend’s grandfather was a paratrooper in the Battle of the Bulge, along with Operation Market Garden and Operation Shingle. He is the most decorated officer in the history of the 82nd Airborne. Still kicking at 101 yrs. old. He narrated some stuff at the WWII museum and also wrote a book about his WWII experiences. The dude is a true American hero. He has such a commanding presence when he speaks, even at his current age. You just have a feeling of awe any time you’re in his presence.
