Harris wouldn't even camp to let Aranda see him work at LB and stated he wanted to play offense. LSU wasnt going to take Harris on offense over Devonta Lee which is essentially in the same boat as an ATH.

The other two guys were competing with Marcel Brooks for an OLB position and Brooks is the far better prospect.

It's a numbers and needs game and Constantine, Tounge and Harris though good players didnt fit higher on the board then what Aranda pegged.

If LSU lands Brooks, Starks, McCallum and somehow nabs Nakobe Dean then this arguement laughable.

Just because they are local kids doesnt mean they have to be offered by LSU.
