They paid to have the service by a priest based in a church with a set of beliefs.

Maybe the Catholic Church should have refused to provide the service for the sinner going to hell because he committed suicide? Has anyone seen the Catholic Church refuse anything that envolves money. Maybe the parents should have bought additional indulgence credits so their son’s soul can be released from purgatory.
