Very serious. You think some of the choices for post season honors are puzzling now? Back then most voters might have seen LSU play once. I watched Albergamo play dozens of games. His teammate, Andolsek, was the real deal. The difference between those guys, playing side by side, was striking. Wilkerson was at Andolsek’s level, Nacho was not.
I’m telling you what I saw with my own eyes, but if you would prefer the opinion of a bunch of girly sportswriters, go ahead.

Also, being an old fart myself, I may have a different opinion. But my credentials a pretty suspect, even if you know who I am.
