I just found out a new one...

The Hotel Pennsylvania located across the street from Madison Square Garden had the oldest phone # in NYC when it closed in 2020 or 2021.

The last 5 digits were 6-5000. In the Milli Vanilli song "Baby, Don't Forget My Number" you hear a sample of a song written about the hotels phone # when you hear "Pennsylvania 6-5000."

The Hotel is currently being demolished. It was once home to The Maury Povich Show and Sally Jesse Rachel. I watch Ed McCaffrey break his leg on Monday Night Football before the Michael Jackson 30th Anniversary Concert (which did NOT include Human Nature) in the offices of Sally and took my friends to the Maury set that night.

And for those who know me personally...its the Hotel where Johnny Love peed in my luggage.
