How much of that deficit is interest payments on the $20 trillion national debt? If administrations for the past few decades knew how to balance a budget, we wouldnt be in this mess. $10 trillion was added just in Obama’s 8 years. Its going to increasingly get worse because the interest on that debt is going to become a bigger and bigger percentage of the government’s annual expenses.
