This seems to be a troubling trend when it comes to all these cosmetic procedures. I don't know enough about it all to say what's going on, but I know I wouldn't go anywhere in a strip mall to have any type of procedure done (not saying she went to a place like that, but you do see these places at strip malls).

I'd be curious to see if botched LASIK is tending up, but even if the risk is 0.5%, IMO it's not worth it. It is a slight inconvenience to put in contacts and/or wear glasses....

Wearing contact lenses is not even remotely risk free.
