Anybody read the broken earth books?
I just saw this morning that all of them won a Hugo award so I would think it would be good. There’s a lot of reviews on amazon saying otherwise though

I assume you are talking about N.K. Jemisin's broken earth trilogy? If so, that is a fantastic series. It's extremely well written and has one of the more unique plots I've read in fantasy in a while.

Great series, really unique. Once you get used to the 2nd person style, it’s hard to put down.

I just read the fifth season book one of broken earth... I'm going to buy the second book and finish the series see if it gets better. Book did disappoint. Some of the posters on here were recommending some of my favorite books ever and this popped up. Different writing style, just never really got me excited and pumped about the next page. The ending does make me want to see if books get better.
