Anybody read the broken earth books?
I just saw this morning that all of them won a Hugo award so I would think it would be good. There’s a lot of reviews on amazon saying otherwise though

Rothfuss is a fricking hack in love with his own legend. Like you said, Name of the Wind is beautiful prose, but other than putting a run of the mill story in a frame tale, it's just that: run of the mill. A Wise Man's Fear is a complete mess. I skipped whole chapters of that thing. Just fricking awful.
