So what? There have been years where Alabama played missouri and Shitty Florida teams.
You win you’re conference you’re in.
There are 3 at large bids, so beingnin the SEC does mean more.
But there needs to be some definitive answer to how to get into the playoffs. If every conference had an u defeated champion how are You supposed to just say frick offnundefeated USC or undefeated OU.
You’re reward for winning a tough conference is an automatic bid and a higher ranking in the playoff.
