for an organization that argues it's too many games for the student athletes to have a playoff like every other level of college fb pretty hard. They want the bowls to remain and have lengthened the season to 12 games with a 13th for some conferences since saying it's too many games. If they are worried about too many games they would go back to 11 game season and have a 16 team playoff...but it will never happen.

FCS can add as many as 5 extra playoff games for a team without a bye. I guess the NCAA thinks FCS athletes are more resilient.
