I understand what intellectual honesty is though, which apparently you don't. Intellectual honesty is not being smart, instead its not denying the facts presented to you.
I do agree, the trade deficit is a complicated beast. Maybe trump shouldn't have promised to fix the trade deficit if he can't actually do it?
