I worked with a wonderful woman (RIP Maggie) , amazingly smart, compassionate and sensitive ( company owner ) who would just dissolve into quiet tears any time the stress level hit hyperdrive. She’d just be overwhelmed. It wasn’t even a negative thing or a weak thing, it was more of a physiological response. I liked her more for it somehow.
Awweee that’s really sweet.
And like I said, it’s not that I didn’t have these moments it’s just I didn’t want to be appear vulnerable and didn’t want to take away from whatever was our inteneded goal at the time.
I’m no longer working in that position and that not a bad thing.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with emotional displays. I just feel someone who breaks down for making an error might be in the wrong line of business
We all have our strengths and weaknesses, it's as important to find out what you can't do as much as what you can do. Emotional compatibility is as important as skills in performance of a job and how it enhances your life.
