I have had many discussion about this all season but everyone still wants to point the finger at coaching and x’s & o’s. This draft cycle the only person eligible to be drafted that has a chance Is Cole Tracy. If that doesn’t open your eyes to how depleted talent wise this offense was this season nothing will.

But that's kind of the point...an actual OC with an actual scheme relies less on the talent of individual players. Mullen, Freeze, Briles, all of these offensive minded coaches are able to SCHEME around a lack of talent. And just imagine what would happen if they had all the talent in the world.

“... wants to point the finger at coaching...”
Coaching recruits the guys who play on Saturday. Coaching teaches the guys who play on Saturday how to play better. Coaching decides which players should play. Coaching decides which plays the players should run.
We see examples of less talented teams beating more talented teams every Saturday doing this season. We see LSU losing to less talented teams.
Does talent matter? Of course, But coaching is a vital element in the equation needed to reach the elite status. Isn’t that why we made a coaching change three years ago?
