I genuinely hate that some women won’t know justice because there were too many who cried wolf.
This. It's the exact same dynamic as people who cry "racism!" at everything.
When ACTUAL racist shite occurs, people are numb to it. Real #MeToo victims are getting overlooked because of the political/petty actions of the ignorant.
Pisses me off.

Cant speak for Wall Street but I have seen a difference in my 9-5.
Our work place is made up of a 70/30 male/female split
Women have been unofficially blacklisted from most fun/serious conversations not work related.
Men here tend to only talk to women if it pertains strictly to work or if the woman initiated the conversation with many of the men pulling the parachute chord at their first opportunity back to their desk or monitor.
I have always been a clown at work during down time and I even find myself not wanting to put myself in a compromised situation with simple humor.
I love to have fun socializing with people at work but nothing is worth gambling my paycheck, retirement, etc over
Any line of work usually at some point requires 1 on 1 mentorship to be groomed into the next position to be properly set up for success. If that environment can be tarnished by an accusation and cost a superior their job without evidence...why would anyone want to take on that risk?
