Didn't realize schools could take out the policy.

That said, doesn't sound like it works out for the players.

Jaylon got $700k after falling per a different source, even though he likely lost $14m or so because of the injury.

Exactly. All these tough guy internet warriors don't know what the real world is and in the real world carriers are nickle and diming every one of those policies and I know of not one player who has not lost a great deal of worth in the event of an injury or any value dropping event from playing.
