This college football season proves we need at least 6 in the playoffs

6 teams are definitely deserving of a shot at a national championship this year, 2 teams are gonna get left out and it really is a travesty.

I'm cool with 6,8,12,16 or 32
Whatever they want to do, but 4 just isn't enough period

4 is too many. 3 undefeated teams. We're set. Clemson-ND playoff, winner plays Bama for title

frick off that's a shite logic,
Bama played a piss poor schedule all year and Georgia controlled them all day until the end. Georgia deserves another chance at them. If the shoe was on the other foot, Bama would already be in and everyone would be sucking their dick

No. Ohio State had their chance, and they blew it against Purdue and to a lesser extent against Maryland.
I like UCF, but giving them a first round game probably @Alabama isn't really giving them a chance.
In reality, only Alabama and Clemson are deserving of a shot a national title. Everyone else except UCF and Notre Dame lost, and both those teams played nobody.

It would be interesting if the committee could change the format every year for all the teams they found to be deserving.
3 one year, 8 the next, 6 after that. It would never happen, and that's a LOT of power for a small group to have. But interesting nonetheless.

Playoffs solved the problems of BCS, so we're inventing new ones by arguing over the 4th damn team. But promise it'll stop when we get to 64

That's stupid, Ohio state looks good to me and OU avenged their only loss. Teams deserve another chance. This bullshite 4 team playoff and officials are killing college football.
If they wanted to keep it the way it was then fine, but they opened this can if worms when they decided to do this fake arse playoff. Now they have to deal with what they started and that is more teams deserve a chance

Four spots for five "power conferences" is stupid. It's even worse when Notre Dame happens to fall into an undefeated season. Six is the right number.

I think it's proof you need 8....
UCF has won 25 straight games, regardless of what opinion of them they have earned at least a chance to share the field with one of the top seeds.
It's crazy, I'm a diehard cfb fan and I've been pretty conservative about expanding anything but this year it just feels like 8 teams is what is best for the sport moving forward.

Yeah struggling into the fourth quarter with a team that lost to 4-8 Akron really impresses me too.

When do you want these kids to attend class?

Just put 4 BEST teams in

Nobody really wants to discuss football with a gump.

By adding 1 extra game?
The FCS has a big playoff every year.

So does D3 and they manage. Those are kids who actually care about classes because their chances in the NFL are slim.
