Bama’s Defense Weakness

The trend for a decade now during this entire Bama run has been obvious. It’s similar type dynamic offenses that are able to move the ball, score, and beat them:
Clemson, Ole Miss, A&M, Ohio State, happening against UGA today.
It absolutely floors me that LSU does not recognize this and do the thing that has been proven to beat them or at least be competitive time and again over the years...a dynamic offense that spreads them out and keeps them off balance. They can’t just stack the box when they have to worry about the whole field.
We have the athletes to do it to, but coaching just refuses to adjust. For a freaking decade. So frustrating

Do not understand for the life of me why we didn't run more bubble/slip screens, rb (flares, wheel routes) and te releases, even if it didn't yield many yards it would have spread the defense and could have possibly ran more effectively.

This is one of the most vulnerable Bama defenses in a while, and we still couldn't do anything. Of course, the wizards here will tell you it's because LSU is the only game Bama cares about.

Looks like not giving up a td to secure the win is not one of them.

One thing watching that game. LSU needs to use the fricking TE position. You want a pro style offense.. use your fricking TE

Quick , who is the last pocket passer to beat Saban’s Bama? It doesn’t matter how great of a game your qb has you can not I repeat can not beat these people in 4 quarters without the ability to extend plays with your legs. Period. Hidden yardage. This is the same game from last year basically. GA got basically blanked in the second half. Fromm went missing again.

I’m not defending coach E, but we tried to spread them out this year. It just didn’t work

No we didn’t just bc we lined up in Shotgun does not mean we tried to spread them out

Yeah it actually does. Do you mean that we didn’t try to stretch the field vertically? Kind of hard to do with our O-line. But there was never a point where Alabama just stacked the box. They didn’t need to. Stop getting your talking points from the rant and actually watch the games

Stretching the field vertically is a part of the spread but also running curls, stops, complimentary routes, rubs, we don’t do any of that. Running that stupid arse slant every play is not spreading people out.

Can you post screenshots or some sort of proof that we only ran slants the entire game?

Every one of the teams you named had a QB playing lights out.
A QB that can make plays when the play is mostly broken is the key.
Take Fromm’s pass in the flat over the shoulder today. Few QBs can make that throw. But that’s what is needed. Over and over.
