Playing it again and it's Laura Croft meets Artyom

Horizon Zero Dawn is in contention for greatest games of all time.

As far as exclusives. . .I hated Bloodborne (souls games are boring and empty to me), Nier is fun, never played the new GoW.

HZD is a win on all fronts. Great world. . .great world and lore building. . .challenging and diverse enemies. . .excellent character development and progression. . .and a fantastic and compelling story.

I am comfortable discussing it in the same breath as Chronotrigger

HZD is awesome.

GoW and HZD back to back years is sick.

HZD was just a breath of fresh air for games. The enemies, the story, the protagonist. Great game, great voice acting, great story, great, original gameplay.

Awesome game.

RDR2 is great too though, I know it's getting a lot of love and a bunch of people hate it but I am just emgrossed playing it.

It's like the opposite HZD, Ubisoft. It actually reminds me of BoTW. They throw you in the huge map, and there's not markers littering it, you can place your own markers.

Something about RDR2 makes me immersed more than most games.

HZD is just unique in the fact that it felt all new while playing it. The combat is hella fun and the enemies are awesome, graphics are amazing.

Open world was getting stale for a while, but then you have this run of HZD, BoTW, GOW, and RDR2. The open world fatigue might be paying off.
