People need to realize E is not leaving, rightly or wrongly. There is an argument to be made for continuity, I’m not sure a 4th OC in 4 years is the answer, especially with so much coming back next year.
There is something to be said for continuity, but when it means continuing a scheme that got us the 104th-ranked offense, changes need to be made. Orgeron's not fooling anybody. He's doing everything he can to avoid having to fire or demote Ensminger, because having to do so would mean that he made a mistake in promoting him to begin with.

quote:may or may not be able to coach QB's but what I keep wondering is if this guy is so good of a QB coach why hasn't any else hired him? Why do we not hear about other programs showing interest in him? I have seen numerous comments about LSU's route tree being outdated. I don't claim to know anything about this. I have not paid close attention to the WR routes as a whole. But I do know the receivers very seldom get any separation. I don't know what can be done about the dropped passes other than just trying to work threw it and practice. The biggest issue IMO is it seems nearly all of the pass plays are slow developing.
