If I send an email to a friend saying "I just found out that 'Obama is done. He is finished'" it doesn't mean I got it from some inside source.
Again, the whole "gotcha" is the issue.

No but if you send an email to a friend saying "I just found out that Obama will be at 5 Guys for lunch tomorrow" and he shows up there then that's enough specificity to show a probable inside source.
