What scary is people are trying to rewrite history.

Lee accomplished a lot more in his life than most people living today. He done a lot of great things and just like everyone else some bad things. You cannot erase history.

I see it more and more that people will forget the good and bad things.
Then this will make it easy for someone to eventually destroy this country.

In reality a lot more could have been accomplished by filling the warehouses of Vicksburg and evacuating the non combatants than ever was at Gettysburg.

Grant never did break into the fortifications there and likely never would have. He could not have stayed there forever himself. Bring in Forrest to harass his supply lines,what there were of them and he could have been defeated there, and history changed.
