Sad but that’s the answer. I honestly at this point have no feelings

With an elite OC, an elite WR coach, 3 or 4 bad-arse WR's who OWN that ball, and a much improved O-Line? Maybe.
LSU would then have a decent shot at an upset win with a couple good bounces of the football. Bama is still a couple years ahead in recruiting.

How about we prove we can score against bama before we prove we can beat them.

Lets make 1 thing clear. We will not beat saban again, ever. Anyone who thinks so is a freaking idiot. LSU fans should be concerned about being contenders until he retires. I pray lsu admin keeps this program relevant until saban is retired

Seriously question, no troll. What makes you think the O line will be vastly improved?
We return every single player except Brumfield, who is our fifth or sixth best. Young players, like Saahdiq, Deculus and Hines, are talented. They are just playing too soon. And we have a great class coming in for depth. I will be shocked if we are not much improved on the offensive line.

2 Years from Now U.
I’m not sure how any LSU fan can bring this topic up as long as ensminger is oc.

Big brother has decided that beating bama is no longer a goal of LSU football. We have to be content on beating the aTms of the world. Call me Deacon Blues.

Is the SEC HQ in Birmingham next year, there is your answer

Wow, what a wimpy answer! Did the SEC office push our offensive line into our backfield?

Our only chance to level the playing field somewhat is with a different offensive scheme and that is unlikely to happen.
The loss of White and Williams will hurt defensively but getting Chaisson back could mitigate that some. I still don't see many dominant players on the D-line either.
Orgeron can either evolve with the times offensively or stick with an outdated and ineffective offense.
I almost feel that the 2018 team has won with "smoke and mirrors". You can't always count on winning the turnover battles as effectively as we did this year. Look at Miami. Last year they were leaders in turnovers and this year they are 37th. It's a huge drop and their record shows it.

with a new offensive coordinator, i like our chances, but if COACH E is the offensive coordinator, no chance
Posted on 11/22/18 at 7:46 am to ctiger69
If the current offensive coordinator is still scheming gameplans then the big question is, will we score on Bama in 2019.

No, but we might score—-that’s progress

Tiger fans in their mid 40's may never see LSU beat Bama again. Sorry guys i know they truth hurts. All we can hope for is the playoff format to change 8 teams and we get in and hopefully someone else knocks Bama out.

I would give us a realistic 0% chance
Posted on 11/22/18 at 11:41 am to ctiger69
Go play in traffic. We are Bama’s bitch. Accept and enjoy life.

This year's game was the least poorly officiated since 2012, and the outcome wouldn't have been much different even had Devin White played the first half.
Birmingham isn't the reason we can't score against them this decade.

We’ve won there before but I don’t think we will. Best case head into game undefeated and keep it close
